Split chick pea curry

This might sound weird but it tastes good. This is my mother's recipe and one of my favourites.Preparation time: 1 hr. 15 min.
Working time: 20 min.
Ingredients:
Split chick pea: 1 cup (soak for half an hour)
Onion: 1 medium ( finely chop)
Green chilies: 2
Ginger-garlic paste: 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds/ powder: 1/2 tsp
Coriander seeds/ powder: 1 tsp
Cinnamon : 1" stick / half tsp
Cloves: 2
Turmeric: 1/4 tsp
Red chili powder: 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil: 1 tbsp
Method:
After soaking, pressure cook the chick peas. Do not overcook. The peas should be separate.
Fry onions & green chillies in a pan.
Add chick pea splits and rest of the ingredients.
Pour 1/4 cup of water. Saute well.
Keep the lid and cook until it is done.
Serve hot with rice.
